Plants can be sorted into four main groups based on two questions: do they have tissue (tubes that carry water inside the plant), and do they reproduce by or by ? Mosses are — they have no internal water tubes, so they stay small and must live in damp places. Ferns have vascular tissue but also reproduce by spores. Gymnosperms are vascular plants that make seeds inside , and do not produce flowers. Angiosperms are plants that store their seeds inside fruit. Angiosperms are divided into two sub-groups: a has one seed leaf and parallel veins, while a dicot has two seed leaves and branching veins.

Match each term to its definition

Draw a line connecting each term on the left to its correct definition on the right. Or write the matching letter next to each term.
